Is Aaron Rodgers starting the kind of roll upon which MVP seasons are built?

The Green Bay Packers quarterback had one of the best back-to-back performances of his career the last two weeks and put up a combined passer rating of 140.8 in wins over Houston and St. Louis.

It was reminiscent of the three-game stretch in games seven through nine last season when his collective rating of 146.6 against Minnesota, San Diego and Minnesota again helped make him the nearly unanimous choice (48 of 50 votes) in the MVP voting last season. ...
