The tires are back on, silly string removed and windows cleaned to perfection.

One quick trip down Oneida Street to PDQ and James Jones’ Chevy Avalanche was buffed back to a high-mirror shine.

However, the Green Bay Packers’ wide receiver hasn’t forgotten what his truck looked like after teammate Greg Jennings got a hold of it on Monday.

As we wrote about earlier this week (http://tinyurl.com/9rm7waa), Jennings had some fun with Jones on Monday when he had a local automotive service remove the tires from Jones’ truck and place it on blocks during a prank for the birthday of Jones’ son, J.J.

It’s a part of an ongoing prank between Jones and Jennings, who was dishing out some payback of his own after Jones wrote on Jennings’ car and filled it packing peanuts for his 29th birthday last month.

Jennings told him afterward since Jones’ birthday is during the offseason on March 31, he decided to repay Jones on Monday for Jones’ son, J.J.’s birthday.

“For his birthday I had drew on outside of his truck. Put a bunch of peanuts on his car, so he took it to the next level,” said Jones, playfully.

“Actually PDQ or whatever the car wash was done the street, they did really good. They got it out. I took it down there to get washed and they got all the stuff out. They did good.”

Jones joked the battle between him and Jennings is far from over.

“I got him pretty good, but I kind of laid off a little bit,” Jones said. “Now? It’s on.”
