Packers coach Mike McCarthy spoke to the media following practice on Wednesday. Here are some highlights from the news conference.

*Donald Driver was limited at practice (neck, thumb)

*Greg Jennings' surgery will happen sometime this week.

*Jordy Nelson will go through the rehab process today and Thursday to see if he could practice on Friday.

*McCarthy thinks Arizona has a very talented defensive scheme. Very aggressive. Have some impact players on defense. Do a nice job taking the ball away. Offensively, fighting through injuries.

*Definitely value in running the football because everything you do is off the running game. You can either go back and pass or playaction but that's set up through run game.

*Arizona's injuries makes you focus on personnel groups. Be ready for all the different personnel groups.

*The players have clear understanding the importance of this game. I think maybe we've made the mistake of looking forward to bye week in the past. Our focus is on the Arizona Cardinals.

*Preparation process. I don't want to talk about the bye week. I don't want to hear about how much time we have off. What we're going to do because that's losing your focus.

*It's an experience you need to draw from. Whether it's on practice field or game field, things aren't always just going to line up. You're not going to feel the same way. It's always different.

*Their inside pressure is very impressive. Paris (Lenon) is playing really well, too. It's very common everything we've seen on film because that's what our defense does. Their scheme is very challenging.

*If anything that's held the no-huddle back, it's me (McCarthy). If I want to be critical of myself in the first-half of the season, that would be that. I think it's been very good for us. There's been particular plays that have happened in no-huddle that I shouldn't have reacted so hard to."

*John Kuhn is feeling a lot better. He's a lot like Jordy. He'll work today and Thursday to see if he can go Friday.

*PUP game plan, they'll talk about Zombo and Quarless with Ted Thompson on Friday.
