Third-quarter summary: Packers 31, Cardinals 17

Nov. 4, 2012

Packers 31, Cardinals 17
Tom Crabtree, 72-yard pass from Rodgers, 0:00.
Keys: After going four series without a first down, Rodgers dropped a pass over the top of Arizona’s defense and into the arms of Crabtree on second-and-six for a 72-yard touchdown, the longest touchdown completion of the season.
Drive: 2 plays, 78 yards, 0:50.

Packers 24, Cardinals 17
Jay Feely, 20-yard field goal, 0:50.
Keys: The Packers’ defense continued to look tired and yielded points to the Cardinals for the second consecutive drive. Although Green Bay stopped the Cardinals on third-and-one on the Packers’ 2 to force Feely’s kick, the defense allowed Skelton to go 5-fot-5 passing on the series, including a 22-yard pass to Rob Housler to march into Packers’ territory.
Drive: 11 plays, 74 yards, 5:11.

Packers 24, Cardinals 14
Larry Fitzgerald, 31-yard pass from John Skelton (Feely kick), 8:21.
Keys: With Clay Matthews leaving with a hamstring injury, the Cardinals’ offense started to heat up with Skelton hitting Andre Roberts for a 23-yard completion and finally finding Fitzgerald, who beat rookie outside linebacker Dezman Moses and the rest of the secondary to score off the quick slant.
Drive: 8 plays, 87 yards, 2:55.

Packers 24, Cardinals 7
Mason Crosby, 33-yard field goal, 13:12.
Keys: After missing a 44-yard field goal earlier in the game, Crosby was good from 33. The Packer gained only two yards on the drive, but started on the Cardinals’ 17 after linebacker Erik Walden grabbed his first career interception off a John Skelton’s pass that was deflected by Casey Hayward.
Drive: 4 plays, 2 yards, 0:45.
