Football is an emotional game. Losses turn fans into raving lunatics. Arizona Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt is trying hard not to listen, trying hard to stay on message.

But it's not working.

During a 31-17 loss to the Packers on Sunday, the Cardinals made a litany of errors, from dropped passes to muffed punts. They were burned by big plays and little moments, like quarterback Aaron Rodgers diving head first for a bouncing fumble that the Cardinals could not corral. ...
