Perry's second opinion is for wrist, not knee

Nov. 6, 2012

The second medical opinion Packers linebacker Nick Perry is getting is for his injured wrist, not his knee, a league source said today.

To be sure, Packers coach Mike McCarthy, who informed reporters yesterday about the second opinion, never said it was for Perry's knee and was never asked.

However, it was reasonable to assume that it was for Perry's left knee, which has kept him out the last three games.

Perry's left wrist injury dates to the season opener against San Francisco.

Perry had been listed on the injury report with both a knee and a wrist injury.
