With the Packers and Giants both 6-3 and very much in the playoff picture, the NFL decided to leave that game in prime time on Nov. 25.
The league announced today its flex scheduling plan for the Thanksgiving weekend and made no changes, meaning the game between the Packers and Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. remains a 7:20 p.m. (CT) kickoff.
The league said it made the announcement a week early "to allow fans and teams to finalize travel plans for Thanksgiving weekend."
Yesterday, the league announced the Packers' game at Detroit the previous weekend, on Nov. 18, would remain a noon start. That was the first weekend of flexible scheduling.
