Packers' Super Bowl odds 8-to-1

Nov. 10, 2012

A little past the halfway point of the 2012 season, the Green Bay Packers' Super Bowl odds are a little lower than they were at the end of training camp.

The Packers' odd are 8-to-1, according to the online sports book bovada.lv, which is a little lower than their 6-to-1 odds after their final preseason game. Those preseason odds were second-best in the NFL, behind only New England at 11-to-2.

Five teams now have better odds than the Packers to win the Super Bowl: Houston (5-to-1), New England (still at 11-to-2), San Francisco (6-to-1), Atlanta (15-to-2) and Denver (8-to-1).

The Packers' odds are slightly better than the Chicago Bears, who are in first place in the NFC North Division at 7-1, with the Packers at 6-3. The Bears' Super Bowl odds are 9-to-1.
