Lieutenant governor stops in Appleton to promote state's deer donation program

Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch stopped by the Cedar Creek Meat Market in Appleton to promote the statewide 2012 Deer Donation program, in which hunters can donate unwanted meat and carcasses to designated locations that will grind the venison and donate it to local food pantries.

The program, now in its 13th year, has processed more than 80,000 deer and 3.6 million pounds of ground venison ...
