Generous gift spurs 'Stock the Shelves' goal to be set higher

$40,000 donation exceeds initial $250K effort

The Post-Crescent's "Stock the Shelves" Do It! Community Challenge has exceeded its $250,000 goal by more than $14,000, thanks to contributions including the largest one-time donation in the campaign's history.

A $40,000 donation from the Rick and Sheri Hartzheim Family Fund within the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, which came in this week, has helped put the campaign total at $264,032.50 as of Friday. That total includes matching grants.
