Third-quarter summary: Lions 17, Packers 14

Nov. 18, 2012

Lions 17, Packers 14
Calvin Johnson, 25-yard pass from Matthew Stafford, 3:01.
Keys: After seeing their last drive end in an interception for a touchdown, the Lions responded with a lengthy drive and 25-yard touchdown pass to Johnson, who caught the pass through the arms of defending safety Morgan Burnett on a play that could’ve easily resulted in a third Stafford interception than the fourth lead change of the game.
Drive: 10 plays, 83 yards, 5:30.

Packers 14, Lions 10
M.D. Jennings, 71-yard interception return, 8:46.
Keys: Matthew Stafford’s erratic throws finally came back to haunt him on his second interception of the day after throwing behind tight end Tony Scheffler, who then batted the pass up and into the arms of Jennings. The Packers had several key blocks on the play to spring the second-year undrafted safety to help turn the momentum.
