A woman killed Friday in a head-on crash has been identified as Stephanie Gutenberger, 29, of Bonduel.

Gutenberger was a passenger in a car westbound on Wisconsin 29 near Brown County U when an eastbound sport utility vehicle veered left, crossed the median and hit the car about 1 p.m., the Brown County Sheriff's Department said.

Gutenberger was pronounced dead at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay. The female driver of the SUV and the male driver of the car also were taken to that hospital. Details of their condition were not immediately available.

The investigation continues.
