The 107-year-old football rivalry between Green Bay East and West high schools has been nominated as one of the top three rivalries in Wisconsin by USA Today.

The East-West rivalry is competing against Edgar vs. Stratford and Sheboygan North vs. Sheboygan South.

The winning rivalry, being decided by online voting at http://contest.usatodayhss.com/vote/wi, will receive $5,000 toward each school's athletic department. In addition, USA Today will report live on the winning rivalry game in 2013 and present the schools with a trophy that can be kept each year by the winning team.

Voting for the top state rivalry ends at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3. State winners will advance to regional competition Dec. 5-12, and four regional finalists will compete for the title of the nation's top rivalry Dec. 13-19.
