Item 1: Love is an ever inter-active emotional, spiritual, and physical reality. "Love grows," we say, which means, "Love changes, expands, transforms, reforms, renews - even itself." (See also 1Cor. 13: 1-8).
The Catholic bishops say they act out of love. Yet their methods are controlling and punitive.
Perhaps these times, with their unique and complex, inter-related issues, are calling the bishops to a higher, more fully developed way of love.
Bishops, let go of your egos. Expand and develop your thinking, along with your hearts. Grow.
Item 2: Many communities are choosing to add composting into their renew/re-use/reduce/recycle programs. City and county-wide composting is catching on as the environmental, economic and health benefits of replenishing the soil with its own home-grown nutrients are realized.
If the Oneida Seven Generations Corp. will change their plans from burning garbage to composting, I think support will follow.
OSGC, listen to the wisdom of your non-wasteful, non-toxic producing, composting ancestors on this one. Everyone will benefit.
