Notebook: Jennings takes 'big step,' returns to practice

Green Bay Packers receiver Greg Jennings returned to the practice field on Wednesday, one day shy of three weeks after he underwent surgery to repair a torn abdominal muscle.

That's right on schedule according to what Dr. William Meyers, who performed the surgery, told him.

"Dr. Meyers told me in three weeks you will be running full speed," Jennings said. "But it's a lot quicker than what I thought." ...
