Art, woodworking classes 'give back to the community'

Twenty-four lucky children will receive rockin' holiday gifts handmade by Green Bay Preble High School students this year.

Students in Preble's woodworking and art classes are working collaboratively to design, build and paint 24 wooden rocking horses for local children in need. The horses will be finished by early December and delivered to Toys for Tots.

"It's something to give back to the community, and we're happy to do it," art teacher Sara Gerondale said. ...
