Fundamentals elude UWGB women in OT loss

CANCUN, Mexico - The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay women's basketball team has nobody to blame but itself for this one.

James Madison beat UWGB 89-86 in overtime at the Cancun Challenge on Thursday night, aided in part by a Phoenix team that had an uncharacteristically difficult time protecting the ball and making free throws.

UWGB had 18 turnovers and shot 17-for-28 (60.7 percent) from the line, both of which weren't good enough to beat a James Madison squad that kept fighting back until it finally won. ...
