The Salvation Army of Brown County collected more than $15,060 on Friday, a Red Kettle day sponsored by Associated Bank, which pledged a $10,000 match of donations.
"It was amazing to see all the generous people who visited Red Kettles on Friday to support such a worth cause," said Judy Docter,cq executive vice president-chief human resources officer of Associated.
Salvation Army's goal is to collect $1.2 million in Brown County for its programs, which include rental assistance, utility assistance, a food pantry and meal program.
Bell ringers are needed through Dec. 27 for the 57 Red Kettle sites in Brown County. To volunteer, call The Salvation Army bell office at (920) 884-3077 or go to ringbells.org.
