Scouting report: Giants' special teams

Scotland-born kicker Lawrence Tynes has been a solid, dependable kicker (82.2 field-goal percentage) in his nine NFL seasons, and at age 34 this season is more accurate than ever (90.3 percent, 28-for-31).

Punter Steve Weatherford ranks No. 15 in gross average (46.9 yards) and No. 27 in net (37.2 yards).

Wilson has great speed and returned three kickoffs for touchdowns in college at Virginia Tech. He ranks No. 18 in average return (25.4 yards) this year and has a long of 66 yards.

Punt returner Rueben Randle, a second-round pick from LSU, has more fair catches (13) than returns (12) and hasn't shown much juice (8.1-yard average).
