Second-quarter summary: Giants 31, Packers 10

The Packers had two turnovers in the first half with the New York Giants scoring touchdowns off both to take a 31-10 lead at halftime.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers completed 8-of-13 passes for 147 yards in the first half while Giants quarterback Eli Manning threw for 142 yards and two touchdowns.

Keys: On first down, the Packers left tackle Marshall Newhouse one-on-one with Osi Umenyiora, who blindsided Rodgers to force the fumble at the Packers’ 23. Two plays later, Bradshaw ran in from 13-yards out to extend the Giants’ lead to three scores.
Drive: 2 plays, 23 yards, 0:19.

Giants 24, Packers 10
Mason Crosby, 28-yard field goal, 3:37.
Keys: The Packers sustained a 6-minute drive with help from a 32-yard check-down pass to fullback John Kuhn to start the drive and finished with Crosby hitting from 28 yards after missing a 55-yard attempt on the Packers’ second drive.
Drive: 10 plays, 62 yards, 6:00.

Giants 24, Packers 7
Victor Cruz, 9-yard pass from Manning (Tynes kick), 9:37.
Keys: For an offense only succeeding on 37 percent of its third-down attempts this season, the Giants continued to dice the Packers’ defense throughout the first half, including Cruz’s 9-yard touchdown across the middle from the slot on third-and-six from the Green Bay 9.
Drive: 8 plays, 61 yards, 3:58.
