Two people were arrested this morning after a vehicle pursuit near the Aloft Green Bay hotel, 465 Pilgrim Way.

Officers were called to a reckless driving complaint near the hotel about 5 a.m. and found a vehicle leaving the area, said Lt. Luke Pasterski of Ashwaubenon Public Safety.

An officer tried to initiate a traffic stop, but the driver of the vehicle ran away on foot after trying to elude authorities.

The driver was tracked back to the hotel with help from an Oneida police K-9 unit and Green Bay police. The alleged driver and another person were found in a hotel room.

Ashwaubenon officers are requesting charges of eluding and obstructing an officer. The suspects were booked into the Brown County Jail on several outstanding warrants.
