Jim Temp, a former Green Bay Packers defensive end who remained active in the community for years after his playing days, has died. He was 79.

Temp, who played for the Packers from 1957 to 1960, later served on the team's board of directors and had a residence hall named after him at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

He died Sunday at a local hospital, according to Cotter Funeral Home in De Pere. Funeral arrangements are pending. ...
