Alex Green did well in his recovery from knee-reconstruction surgery in early November 2011 to be practicing when the Green Bay Packers' training camp opened at the end of July and playing part time when the regular season started six weeks later.

But for the Packers' halfback to see Minnesota's Adrian Peterson back from the same surgery, performed Dec. 30, and leading the NFL in rushing by almost 200 yards? It's a mind-blowing testament to Peterson's will and freakish physical gifts.
