Winneconne students tour local businesses

A group of Winneconne high school students learned Thursday that businesses in their community are more connected to the world than they ever realized.

More than 100 students spent the morning touring five local businesses: Midwest Specialty Products, Proto 1 Manufacturing, Oshkosh Designs, Chief Industrial Services and Multi-Conveyor. The tour was geared toward students enrolled in engineering, physics, graphic design, manufacturing and technical education classes.
