Hours are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Nov. 29 and 30; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 1 and 8; and 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Dec. 9. An intensive learning program to train potential entrepreneurs and provide participants with a working tool they can utilize in business development including marketing, accounting, legal aspects and success stories.

Fire Safety Conference, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., D.C. Everest Middle School, 9302 Schofield Ave., Weston. Northcentral Technical College will offer this one-day program with two workshops for fire professionals. "Fireground Scenario and Five Alarm Leadership: Real Leadership with Real People." Attendees experience and examine a number of different types of structural fires and analyze the tactics, strategies and other factors that come into play.

"The Five Alarm Leadership: Real Leadership with Real People" workshop will energize and motivate firefighters to perform and excel in everything they do by outlining common situations and presenting suggestions and solutions.
