Stocking stuffer

4:09 PM, Nov. 29, 2012  |  Comments
This little stocking stuffer is Caden Bush, newborn son of Katrina Smith and Matt Bush of Nekoosa. Born at Riverview Family Birthplace on Nov. 20, Caden is going home in a Christmas stocking homemade by the members of Gamma Phi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. For 21 years, Gamma Phi has handcrafted infant-sized Christmas stockings for the newborns of Riverview Family Birthplace. Babies born during the holiday season are presented to their parents in a stocking prior to discharge from the hospital. Gamma Phi anticipates nearly 50 new arrivals this holiday season. This annual project of the Gamma Phi is made possible by the loyal sponsors of the Bag Lady litter bags that are distributed by the sorority along the Wisconsin Rapids Cranberry Blossom Fest parade route.
