Andrea Nelson is a unique Gibraltar High School senior who will graduate with distinction. A member of the National Honor Society, she has earned above a 4.0 grade point average while completing rigorous courses such as Advanced Placement calculus, math analysis, AP European history, AP English language, and Spanish IV. Named a Commended Scholar, she placed in the upper third percentile of all participants on the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. Furthermore, Andrea has participated in track and field, student government, forensics and volleyball. Through all of this, while competing at the state level in forensics and serving as a volleyball captain, she balanced co-curricular obligations with high academic expectations. Gibraltar salutes Andrea Nelson, a talented young woman, for her outstanding performances.
