It has been a few weeks since the election, anyone else find the resulting silence deafening? Especially when you consider the political and social intensity that was so prevalent leading up to the election. Who would have thought it would be so relatively calm after an election that essentially was determined by a difference of only a half-a-million votes? And in Wisconsin, of all states, where representatives from the losing party disregard their oath and run to a neighboring state and special interest groups storm and occupy the capitol in Madison, where there are constant pursuits for recalls and bullying.
The difference is which ideology won and which one lost. When progressives-liberals lose, there are riots, protests, occupations, bullying, intimidation, property damage, and outrage. Shouts of voter fraud, election theft, and recall efforts run rampant. When progressives-liberals win there are terse reminders that election results have consequences and that the "other side" needs to move on and get over it.
Have you taken the time, or will you, to wonder why the difference in behavior and what has our country become? If we do not, we will lose our country as we once knew it.
