I am a 72-year-old resident of Mason Mason in Green Bay. Like many of the elderly and disabled, I use the Metro city bus service.
Since moving here in 2006, I haven't had any problems going to and from medical appointments or grocery shopping until Nov. 8, when the No. 8 bus passed me up going westbound on West Mason Street.
The driver passed me up and I complained to the Metro office. I finally got an apology, which was sufficient until I was recently informed by another bus driver that I had been passed up because I was not underneath the bus sign, but outside the available cubicle instead.
I thought that there might be some allowances for the crippled and disabled.
