Packers inactive: Driver a rare scratch

Dec. 2, 2012

Donald Driver hasn't had much of a role this season with the Packers.

Today, he won't have any role.

The veteran receiver is inactive because of a thumb injury. The last time he was inactive was Nov. 7, 2010 against Dallas because of a quad injury. Before that, the last game he missed was the regular-season finale in 2007, when he was held out to rest for the playoffs.

This will be just his fourth missed game since 2002.

The other inactives are:

S Charles Woodson
RB Johnny White
CB Sam Shields
OLB Clay Matthews
LB Terrell Manning
WR Donald Driver
DE C.J. Wilson

That means both players the Packers activated yesterday -- RB DuJuan Harris and WR Jeremy Ross -- both will play today.

Inactive for the Vikings are:

QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson
WR Percy Harvin
CB Brandon Burton
LB Audie Cole
OL Mark Asper
TE Allen Reisner
DE D'Aundre Reed
