Driver identified in fatal downtown crash

Police say a 24-year-old man rolled his vehicle in a crash that took his life early Sunday in downtown Appleton.

Ralph Bush of Appleton was taken by ambulance to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The crash happened about 1:30 a.m. in Houdini Plaza.

Sgt. Pat DeWall of the Appleton Police Department said Bush struck curbing after traveling west from Soldier's Square into the plaza, which caused his car to overturn. He was partially ejected from the car. ...
