To prepare for the upcoming winter concert "I Believe," the high school singers in the Lawrence Academy of Music Girl Choir program wrote about what they stand for and hold dear.

Karen Bruno, the program's artistic director and conductor of the high school ensemble Bel Canto, chose words from the assignment and created a word cloud that forms the cover of the concert program and the concert posters.

"I know that I brought up 'equality' and 'respect,' just simple words that we throw around all of the time but there's really a lot of meaning behind them," said Appleton East High School senior ...
