The members of Fond du Lac Visual Arts have collaborated in an annual show at the Fond du Lac Public Library gallery through December. The range of work is vast: jewelry, ceramics, watercolor, collage, oils ? it's a multi-media exhibit that showcases the diversity of the group.

The public is invited to a meet-the-artists reception at the gallery 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6. Light refreshments will be served and information about Fond du Lac Visual Arts will be available.

Fond du Lac Visual Arts was formed in 2010 as a professional artists' collaborative devoted to art awareness and education, to the development and enhancement of artists' skills and to strengthening the connection to arts and commerce in Fond du Lac.

The group serves as curator of the library's gallery. They work with local and regional artists and arts groups to plan exhibits for the space. They can be reached at www.facebook.com/fonddulacvisualarts.

The gallery is open during library hours: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday; and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday. The Fond du Lac Public Library, located at 32 Sheboygan St., supports a high quality of life in Fond du Lac through reading, lifelong learning and community involvement.
