A camera inside the F-18 jets that flew over Lambeau Field at the end of Sunday's national anthem was supposed to livestream the pilot's view onto the stadium's Jumbotron.

But due to technical difficulties, things didn't go as planned.

Aaron Popkey, a spokesman for the Green Bay Packers said it was "disappointing" the flyover didn't go as planned. "It didn't work out, some technical aspects with the camera."

Popkey said he was unsure of the specifics of the problem, but the organization hopes to have the opportunity for a future flyover.

According to previous reports, different military branches perform flyovers and use the events as training, though the U.S. Air Force has a limit of two Packers games a year. The U.S. Navy doesn't have a limit on how many flyovers pilots will perform, but allows only two jets per outing, while other branches allow at least four. The U.S. Coast Guard will perform a helicopter flyover as they travel from Traverse City, Mich., before the Packers game against the Tennessee Titans on Dec. 23.
