Deputy uses Taser on partially-clothed man

A half-naked wanted man's attempt to get away from police was thwarted Sunday when he jumped out a window of his mobile home and was jolted by a deputy armed with a Taser and waiting outside.

John G. Smith, 27, of Mosinee was arrested Sunday on charges of resisting an officer and bail jumping; he also was wanted by authorities on a warrant and by probation and parole officers, and was in the Marathon County Jail on Monday awaiting a court appearance scheduled for today.
