Community leaders say New North and Fox Cities Economic Development Corp. - two organizations that promote the region in the global marketplace - must work together to strengthen northeastern Wisconsin's economy.

New North Inc., which was launched eight years ago, markets its 18-county service area as a diverse business hub. Its ninth annual summit will be held Friday in Appleton.

Meanwhile, the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce & Industry continues to raise money through its Ignite Fox Cities campaign for a new economic development group to spur business growth in the Fox Cities. ...
