Two Marshfield bars face liquor license suspensions

The liquor licenses for two Marshfield bars will be suspended from Jan. 15 to Jan. 31 based on action taken by the city's Judiciary, License and Cemetery Committee this week.

The license suspensions are pending approval of the Marshfield City Council, which will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in City Hall Plaza, 630 S. Central Ave.

Elixir Night Club, 434 S. Central Ave., and The Spot Sports Bar & Grill, 500 N. Central Ave., are owned by 3rd Avenue Properties, with liquor licenses issued to Leonard Kurzynski of Wausau. ...
