Festival mascot to visit Rudolph event

Boomin' Bob the Greater Prairie-chicken, mascot for grassland conservation in central Wisconsin, will stroll around the Rudolph Country Christmas on Saturday.

Boomin' Bob will pose for pictures and give out information about the Central Wisconsin Prairie Chicken Festival, from April 12 to 14. This annual festival is for visitors of all ages and focuses on grassland conservation in the local area. There are activities at the Buena Vista, Leola and Paul Olson Wildlife Areas. Golden Sands Resource Conservation & Development Council Inc. is host to this fun annual event.
