Gov. Scott Walker previewed his upcoming state budget Friday in a meeting with The Post-Crescent Editorial Board and laid out plans for schools, taxes and jobs.

Amid the budget protests in Michigan, which passed a right-to-work this week, Walker said the issue would be a distraction from priorities in Wisconsin.

"I've supported it in the past, and I won't hide from that, but it would be a huge distraction from the priorities we've set out," Walker said. ...
