The IHOP logo soon will be back above the front doors of its former building on North Mountain Road in Rib Mountain.

The restaurant expects to open under new ownership Dec. 19.

The previous IHOP closed in August 2011 and the building reopened a few weeks later as Brunch Kitchen after the previous IHOP owners, Erin and Marilu Boeger of Tagura Management, fell into financial difficulties. The Boegers owed IHOP $133,380 as of Nov. 29, 2010, according to Wisconsin Circuit Court Access. Brunch Kitchen closed in September. ...
