The Green Bay Packers are preparing to give rookie right tackle Don Barclay his first NFL start but haven't ruled out the possibility that T.J. Lang could be available for Sunday night's game against the Detroit Lions.

To the surprise of even coach Mike McCarthy, Lang returned to practice Friday in a limited capacity after missing Wednesday and Thursday because of the sprained left ankle he sustained in the second quarter of last Sunday's win over the Minnesota Vikings. Lang and Barclay appeared to split Friday's reps.
