'Christmas Carol Concert' at NFDL's Horace Mann next Wednesdays

The Horace Mann High School Bands: Jazz band, Oriole Band and Symphonic Band will present their annual "Christmas Carol Concert" on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 7:45 p.m. in the North Fond du Lac High School Auditorium.

The Jazz Band will open the concert by performing two exciting arrangements of A Big Band Christmas by Carl Strommen featuring Nicole Seidl on tenor saxophone.

The Oriole Band will perform holiday selections including fresh new arrangements of "A Carol Celebration" featuring: Hark, The Herald Angels Sing, O Come Emanuel, Ukranian Carol and Once In David's City and a holiday medley of "Let It Snow!/Winter Wonderland."

The Symphonic Band highlights include: a spirited rendition of "Dashing Through The Snow" based on "Jingle Bells." A hilarious setting of some familiar carols by Jeff Simmons titled "A Cowboy Christmas."

A free will offering will be taken.
