Ripon Medical Center is offering a free support group for those living with a variety of cardiac concerns on Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The group will meet in the Green Lake Room on the hospital's lower level.

The "Healing Hearts" Cardiac Support Group is focused on helping those living with a chronic heart condition, or after a heart attack or heart surgery. The group is also open to anyone interested in reducing their risk of heart disease and is free of charge.

Heart disease is the number one cause of death in the United States. Fortunately, there are things you can do to help reduce your risk for heart concerns. "Healing Hearts" meetings are designed to offer emotional support and education for patients, families, and anyone whose life has been touched by heart issues. It is never too late to start living healthy, and the earlier a person starts, the better.

For more information about the program, call 920-748-9174.
