Fond du Lac County taxpayers can expect to receive their 2012 tax bills in the mail by mid-December. They will also be available to view and print through the Fond du lac County website by logging onto www.fdlco.wi.gov.

Taxpayers are encouraged to pay their taxes by mail to avoid waiting in line. Payment amounts are included on the payment stub(s), located at the bottom of the tax bill. Verify that the escrow check meets or exceeds the tax bill amount and endorse escrow check. Overpayments will be refunded within four weeks of payment.

Enclose appropriate payment stub(s) with your payment. Mail payment(s) to appropriate location listed on the payment stub. Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope, if a return receipt is requested. Please do not enclose the original tax bill.

Payments for parcels located in the City of Fond du Lac and the Village of North Fond du Lac should be made payable and mailed to the Fond du Lac County Treasurer's Office, 160 S. Macy St., P.O. Box 1515, Fond du Lac, WI 54936-1515.

Payments for all other municipalities (Towns, Villages, Cities) are collected by the appropriate municipality. Refer to payment stub(s) for further details.

Real Estate taxes may be paid in full or the first installment is due by Jan. 31, 2013, with the balance due by July 31, 2013.

Warning: If payment is not made by the due dates, the installment option is lost and total tax is delinquent and subject to interest and penalty. See reverse side of your property tax bill for complete explanation.
