Redeemer Lutheran will be hosting a "Christmas for Kids" event, for children ages four years through fourth grade, on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 9 a.m. to noon,

Parents, are you looking for some free time to do your shopping on your own? Please consider bringing your children to this wonderful event, where they can learn the true meaning of Christmas. Your child will hear a lesson about Christmas, play games, make crafts, learn songs, see a live Christmas story skit, enjoy lunch, and meet other children their age.

A ready and willing group of dozens of adult volunteers and young people will keep your child busy and safe in a Christian environment, while you prepare for Christmas or just spend some time on your own.

So as you prepare for Christmas and may be getting frazzled by how many things we all have to do, take time out to remind your child of the greatest gift. Best of all, this gift is free. Our Savior Jesus has given us the gift of eternal life with him in heaven.

No receipt needed! Jesus is yours to keep! Have a wonderful Christmas - from your Christian friends at Redeemer Lutheran.
