Walmart shoppers fill trucks with donated toys, coats for kids

The Salvation Army of Brown County sponsored a toy drive with Walmart Saturday, collecting toys and coats for underprivileged children.

Shoppers received a list upon entering the stores of suggested gifts from volunteers, with the goal of filling a semitrailer-truck parked outside. Collections took place at the stores located at 2292 Main St. in Bellevue and 2440 W. Mason St. in Green Bay.

Two smaller trucks were at both entrances of the store on Main Street, and Saturday was the first time The Salvation Army sponsored a toy drive ...
