CEOs see promise for the economy

41% more positive about state than the nation

Wisconsin's business leaders are optimistic about the state's economic environment, with their biggest concern being a possible national or global slowdown.

Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce's 2013 economic outlook survey found that 42 percent of CEOs listed a business slowdown as their chief concern. Eighteen percent were worried about health care costs, 14 percent about taxes and 9 percent about regulation, all traditional concerns in such surveys.
