US Bank matches Red Kettle donations

US Bank, 5673 Highway 10 E., Stevens Point, has made a $2,000 matching gift to Salvation Army Red Kettle contributions from Nov. 27.

Employees also rang bells at both Wal-Mart entrances that evening. More than $2,000 was contributed at 10 kettle locations in Stevens Point and Plover. With the matching gift, more than $4,000 was donated. The overall Red Kettle Campaign goal is $125,000 by Dec. 24.

"We strongly encourage folks in Portage County to give at a red kettle, volunteer as a bell ringer or volunteer at the Hope Center or at other programs in the area," said Craig Shuler, Red Kettle ...
