Families young and old gathered together this weekend for an annual event that has become a holiday tradition in one of the oldest communities in Wood County.

Shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday, parked cars lined Main Street and all the side roads in downtown Rudolph as a crowds of people made their way to St. Philip the Apostle Church to see the live Nativity scene, complete with donkeys, sheep and even a camel.

"Donkey, I want to pet you!" cried a little voice from the crowd. "Hi, little goatie!" ...
