LaClare Farms, maker of the current U.S. Championship Evalon goat's milk cheese, is moving forward with its new farmstead dairy plant in northeast Fond du Lac County.

The dairy is located north of the community of Pipe on Highway 151 in the town of Calumet and is owned by the Larry and Clara Hedrich family of Chilton.

The new 35,000-square-foot facility includes plans for a state-of-the-art dairy plant, retail store and café, and milking parlor with housing for 600 milking goats. ...
